In honor of Earth Day (Sunday, April 22nd) and our eagerness to share with you one of our favorite local businesses that is doing their part to help our environment, we bring to you Weil Farms. We first found Weil Farms while making our weekly trip to the Punta Gorda Farmer's Market one sunny Saturday morning. We heard through other local moms that their honey was the best around, so their tent was one of our first stops. There was a crowd around Weil Farms area, they are definitely the experts in their market. We chatted with the owner who was extremely knowledgeable and decided to try our their Buckwheat honey, Bee Propolis and Oregano Oil. All products were decently priced and packaged well. Weil Farms does not stop at just honey products, they also offer coconut oil, organic powders like Beet and Turmeric, soaps and beauty products to name a few. Weil Farms are also advocates for saving our honey bees and supporting our local beekeepers is one of the best things you can do to keep our honey bee population alive and thriving.
