Apron Alley Co. is a handmade internet shop, which is run and owned by a Jamie, a local mom. Apron Alley Co. features handmade costume aprons for kids inspired by their favorite fictional characters and we must say, they are amazingly fantastic!
After walking away from a 13 year career as a creative director at a graphic design company to fulfill her dreams of being a stay at home mom, Jamie knew she wanted to open up a shop of her own. Though taking care of her children was a top priority, Jamie also needed to satiate her creative expression. One day, while trying to get her 7 year old to help out in the kitchen, it dawned on her-what if she was able to make helping in the kitchen more fun? She asked her 7 year old daughter if it would be more exciting to help out if she was able to dress up like Snow White while doing so, her daughter was thrilled and Apron Alley Co. was born!
Apron Alley Co. was originally designed for kids ages 2-7 years old in mind to get them inspired to help out in the kitchen, Jamie soon realized that many clients were purchasing them as an alternative to a full dress up costume! Orders started coming in from ages ranging starting at 18 months to 10 years in size! Her clients love these aprons for Birthday Parties, Disney Vacations, Christmas gifts, Halloween costumes and imaginary play.
Jamie opened Apron Alley Co. with just a few Disney inspired tutu aprons, now her shop features over 18 characters to choose from, her most popular are Jessie from Toy Story and Tinkerbell.

While my original intent was for children ages 2 - 7, to wear them to get inspired in the kitchen, I soon learned moms, dads, grandparents, and other relatives were purchasing my aprons simply as an alternative to a full dress-up costume.
