As the weather drops a degree or two outside, it's time for us to whip out the hot chocolate, which should not be saved for only the Christmas season. Peeps make some awesome Halloween marshmallows that are the perfect topping to your spooky hot chocolate. Today's #momhackMONDAY is a quick and easy way to add some Halloween fun to your week! A great twist on this classic is to make white hot chocolate, then you can add green, black, purple or orange food coloring to make your drink extra Halloween-y!
Here is an easy recipe:
Stir together milk, vanilla and chopped white chocolate in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the white hot chocolate comes to a simmer. (Do not let it come to a boil.) Remove from heat and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream and your spooky marshmallows!
